I helped my mom, Peggy Nelson, sew costumes for several plays. we also covered the original (used) seats with a very durable (green and black ?) synthetic material.
I especially remember a white and yellow victorian gown for Liza Dolittle and all the buttons we sewed on a coat and tails for the same show.
I remember helping paint scenery.
My sister, Elizabeth, was in several plays there. She and I are coming to the reuinion together and hope to see many familiar, if older, faces and sharing memories of this enchanted place and the people who made it all happen.
